Sagac seeking Graphic Design Intern

Sagac Public Affairs has a unique opportunity in the Oklahoma City, OK office for a graphic design intern to create advertising and collateral materials for many of America’s top corporations and associations. You will assist the Chief Creative Officer in planning, analyzing and creating visual solutions to communication problems, as well as editing and finalizing projects. The candidate for this position should have a broad base of traditional and online design skills.


Functional Description:

  • Execute requested edits and design changes on client and company communication projects

  • Assist with creative concepts and collaterals for clients and company

  • Work to maintain and update the company’s website and social media platforms

  • Aid in developing and editing layouts of electronic and print materials

  • Assist in carrying design and web projects from concept to completion

  • Help to maintain company and client branding

  • Participate in brainstorming, branding and creative meetings with clients and team

  • Help with creating layouts of presentations for meetings, webinars and other programs

  • Assist in managing print orders and dealing with external suppliers

  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers to deliver projects

  • Other duties related to creative services for clients and company


Required knowledge/experience:

  • Knowledge of common industry design applications (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite (up to CC), Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)

  • Some knowledge of HTML and experience working with WordPress

  • Understanding of production, pre-press, print and web-based technologies helpful

  • Organizational and planning skills


Requirements:

Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Arts, Graphic Design or other related field. Hours are flexible, yet an average of 15 hours per week is desired.
