Sagac Public Affairs has a unique opportunity for a market research analyst to create and deliver market research, analytics and data management for many of America’s top corporations and associations. This position requires an individual with an interest and understanding of market research, information technology and database applications. The candidate for this position should have a strong base of analytical, technology and communication skills.
About Data Analytics and Market Research:
Analysts utilize surveys, focus groups and interviews to gather data from a target audience. They present their findings through charts, graphs and other visual means to executives and clients in order to help them make informed decisions for advocacy efforts, political engagement strategies, campaign finance and marketing campaigns.
Market research analysts interpret the data they collect and organize this information into statistical tables and reports for presentation to the client. The analyses and research create a visual of findings and trends so organizations can have a better understanding of how to develop their engagement strategies.
Assist in developing, deploying and analyzing market research on behalf of clientele
Maintain and perform market segmentation of records in company’s or client’s customer relationship management systems
Develop reports and create queries over relational databases and flat file systems
Prepare research statistics and charts for internal and external audiences using Qualtrics reports, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Use and improve operational procedures for data entry and research using various software tools
General data entry and ongoing data maintenance as needed
Maintain good relationships and constant communication with clients
Ability to manage projects and adhere to process and procedure
Other duties related to information services for clients and company
Interested applicants must have strong communication skills and should have a degree in marketing, information systems, mathematics, political science or other related fields.
Only applicants proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications should apply.
