Washington, DC – Sagac Public Affairs received 10 Pollie Awards at this year’s Annual Pollie Awards ceremony hosted virtually by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).

“This year’s ceremony again looked different than in years past but was no less special for our team,” said Jeri Richardson, Sagac partner and chief creative officer. “As always, it was a privilege to accept the awards on behalf of the firm. We’re honored to have our client work recognized by the industry and enjoyed gathering our team safely to watch the virtual ceremony and celebrate our success together.”

The Pollie Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of political advertising,” are the most esteemed award in our industry and recognize creative work on a national level. The AAPC hosts the Pollie Awards annually to honor excellence, originality and standout communications in the political and public affairs campaigning marketplace. The AAPC announced the 2020 contest brought in the largest number of entries in AAPC history, with a record-breaking 2,700+ entries from more than 400 firms. This year, only 6% of all entries were selected to receive a gold Pollie Award. Recognition for Sagac’s 2020 work included sweeping two full categories for “Best Fundraising Campaign” and “Best Use of Trade Association Fundraising.”

“Receiving 10 Pollies is a great example of how our talented team continues to be a national leader in innovation and achievement for political communications and fundraising activities,” said Trey Richardson, Sagac’s managing partner. “In the midst of a challenging year, it was a positive reminder that leaning into your program works.”
